GRAVEL race series
It's all in the name, "G3 Gravel Series" — three races held over three autumn weekends. We've been pedaling dirt for a few years now, and we're thrilled to keep showcasing the challenging roads around Guthrie and other Oklahoma landmarks. Our focus for each race is to celebrate the land we are privileged to ride on, which keeps the G3 Gravel Series grounded in its grassroots beginnings.

Each Gravel Series race has its own theme and route. Race one event or ride all three: it's up to you. Those who ride all three races are eligible to battle it out for the G3 Gravel Omnium Champion's Award. Learn more about the G3 Gravel Omnium here.

Q: WHERE CAN I FIND MY RACE FINISHING TIME?
A: Your finishing time is recorded live and is available as soon as you finish. We will keep an updated list near the timing company's booth for those who would like to check their time (and others').
Q: WHEN ARE RACE PODIUMS?
A: Podiums are held when the top three category riders have crossed the line. This means podiums are held during the race. There is a podium ceremony for each available category, which allows us to hold podium ceremonies throughout the day.
Q: WHERE ARE THE 2024 RACE COURSE MAPS?
A: The 2024 Gravel Race Course Maps are not yet available. We will announce when the maps are released and host the maps on this page.
Q: WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY REGISTRATION PACKET?
A: We will have limited check-in the night before the event and also the morning of from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM. The packet pick-up location will be announced before the event.
Q: CAN I REGISTER FOR ALL THREE GRAVEL RACES AT THE SAME TIME?
A: Yes! There is a Series Registration option available on our registration page. Registration for the series is slightly discounted, so we recommend this option if you plan on being at all three events. All those who register for the Series are automatically eligible for the G3 Gravel Omnium prize, which is awarded at Race 3. Learn more about the G3 Gravel Omnium Prize here.
Q: CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE EVENT?
A: No, we do not provide refunds; however, you can transfer your entry to another rider. To do so, complete the associated form and visit the Registration Transfers page. You are responsible for finding another rider to take your spot and collecting registration fees from that rider. For Series entries, you can transfer one or all of your race registrations; however, if you cannot ride all three series events, you will not be eligible for the G3 Gravel Omnium Prize.
Q: IS THE GRAVEL RACE SUPPORTED?
A: Two rest stops will be available on our Gravel Race routes. These rest stop will be located at mile 20 and mile 40. We will have water and limited snacks available at the rest stop. We recommend riding with the water, nutrition, and tools you need for the day. This includes bringing an extra tube, sealant, CO2, etc. SAG Vehicles will be available to Gravel Race riders who cannot continue due to mechanical failures or other problems on course. The SAG phone number will be provided before the event.
Q: HOW FAST DO I ACTUALLY HAVE TO RIDE?
A: Your own pace! Those seeking the front of the pack usually average 18 - 20 MPH for the duration of the race. However, you do not have to be able to ride that pace to participate in or finish the Gravel Race. We encourage riders of all abilities to sign up for the event, and we do not tear down our finish line until every rider has crossed.
Q: WHAT IF I CAN'T FINISH THE RACE?
A: We will have SAG vehicles available for cyclists with irreparable mechanical or potential medical issues or for those who'd just rather party at the finish line. The SAG phone number will be provided closer to the event.
